Sharon Duncan is the author of seven novels, including the Friday Harbor-based Scotia MacKinnon mysteries and the London-based Officer St Claire novels.

She has worked as a TV writer and producer, a university instructor, a test developer, an interpreter, and a tango dancer.  She has degrees in English, Spanish and Education.

Sharon is a golfer and a sailor; she has sailed and raced (sometimes as skipper, sometimes as crew) in Mexico, in  California, Florida, Alaska, and Washington

​

Her travels on terra firma include Brazil, Central America, South America, Europe and the U.K.

​

She lives with her family and a Bengal tiger cat in the Pacific Northwest, with occasional sojourns in London and Scotland.
